Traits and Preferences Research Project
Study Type, Purpose, and Goal
Exploratory quantitative survey research to assist with design and strategy.
Goal: Develop a short and reliable inventory of questions that yield the most relevant information about preferences based on personality types and perspectives.
Project Steps
Literature Review: Conduct literature review on personality, driving styles, behaviors, and aesthetic preferences
Protocol Development: Select questionnaires and create aesthetic preference images for testing
Data Collection: Online survey
Data Mining: Analyze data for key results and patterns.
Report: Deliver report summarizing the project and delivering product improvement guidance to stakeholder team (planned)
Key Results

Identified differences between U.S., Germany, and Japan for personality, driving style, driving behaviors, tech propensity, aesthetic preferences, and interaction preferences.
