A little more about me

Bio

I am a human factors researcher with experience in UX research, user testing, and qualitative methods, with a background in psychology.

I have worked in a variety of industries, from automotive to Fin-Tech to help improve the usability and user experience of their products and services. I believe in the power of putting the user at the center of design and using research to inform decisions. Outside of work, I enjoy reading cognitive neuroscience studies and spending time with my two dogs.

Experience

I have several years of experience with secondary research and conducting experiments with human subjects. I have been gaining direct experience in human factors and UX research over the past five years.

I am passionate about generative discovery research as well as evaluative research. I take pride in being an advocate for users at all stages of the product life cycle.

In my current position, I work with UX designers, product owners, business analysts, developers, and several other roles. I discover user needs and help design technology products that meet user requirements and align with stakeholder and business strategies.

Education

With a Master's degree in Human Factors Psychology and my experience in user-centered research, I have developed a deep understanding of the intersection between human behavior and technology. Much of my research during my graduate degree focused on perception and cognition as it relates to usability and UX.

My academic background has equipped me with a solid foundation in research methodologies, data analysis, and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets. This expertise has been further honed through my experience working on various research projects that have ranged from usability evaluations to in-depth user studies.
